From the first trip to Mali, West Africa as a 3rd year student at University of Toronto, Ken Reimer understood the importance of looking beyond our local western perspective. He also recognized the responsibility of those in the developed world toward our global neighbours.

Ethiopia UN Conference Centre Ken's background in developing learning solutions, and in leveraging the Internet, is one which allows him to make a difference is in the area of education and training. Skills development, training, and education are important tools for empowering the populations of developing countries. • UN Staff College (Torino) - orientation for UN staff
  • World Bank (Washington DC) - insurance governance/supervision
  • WHO (Geneva) - "Health for All" strategy, budgeting and planning
